Most of you are familiar with the Warez scene and downloading in parts, but for those of you who are not, this is a handy guide to downloading games in multiple parts.

Before anything you'll need WinRAR. Get that from here:

Code:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Download and install WinRAR, then you can begin downloading games!

99% of all games with multiple parts are in .rar format, which is why you need WinRAR.

Because there are so many parts, when downloading a game you should create a new folder.

Code:
My Documents / Downloaded Games / Name of Game

As you download each part, put it in that folder. This isn't really necessary, but it helps to keep things organised.

Let's get started. Find a game you want that is in multiple parts and download each part into the folder you created above. That's the easy bit, downloading.

Once you've got all your parts together, right-click and drag around them all. When you have them all selected, right-click on the first file and click on "Extract files...".

A window will pop up asking you where you would like to extract the game to. Choose any suitable destination and start extracting.

When the extraction process has been completed you will have all the game files there ready to install and play as normal.

Rob.
