Huh - just watched this film. It was amazing, if not the most confusing thing I have ever seen. Could someone please explain the last couple of scenes to me?
I'm talking about after Dave disconnects Hal and looks at Jupiter in the pod. Seriously, what happened with him suddenly aging and being reborn? _________________

I honestly don't recall much of this movie, but I suppose it'd be worth a rewatch. HAL, by the way, is one letter short on each initial of IBM; HI, AB, LM. No one likes technology takeovers. _________________
