rs private server

yes i have decided i really want to get this working im and a friends house how can we both connect to the same server

Well the best advice I can give you, if you're looking to set up a private RS server, would be to start with my guide on Afterdawn. It'll help you get started by setting up a working RuneScape server by the name of BlakeScape. It's a really messy conversation, so it's best to start from this link here:

The thread is 2 years old now, but the information is still applicable to server management today.

Also, I don't really know how to read your first post, so if I'm not answering your question, then please re-word what it is you want advice with.

i actually now set it up through hamachi im going to see about setting it so i can use noip

and i have read that forum thats how i got here

advise on how to make it work but ive tried that whole forum it did no work but i now think it was something to do with i have been doing it on a very bad computer

That's most likely not the reason. I've run a runescape server on a Pentium II. It was slow and crappy, but it still ran.

If you've read my no-ip guide completely (the one posted here at infohub) then you'll have read how to configure port forwarding and firewall blocks. I am willing to bet that's what you're problem is.

Flozz - I know this thread is old but If you need any help setting up RSPS let me know, the only bit I dont know how to do is webclient, which vicious is looking into for me.
