Where'd that D3 thread go?

Damn, I signed up to that diablofans.com forum and, after only checking it out for a couple of days, I'm completely dumbfounded. You have to go see it for yourself, it is incredible. A number of the "fans" there are complaining about an unfinished game, just hours after the first gameplay trailer was posted online! They've literally created a petition (with 21k+ signatures already, that's just disgusting) for Blizzard to stop their "artistic direction" and create "less cartoony" graphics.

Screw them, I was highly impressed with the trailer and its graphics. Some of these people go really far, and it is both amazing and amusing. It's as if they forgot that it is just a game!

I'm so glad I don't obsess over a game that way. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go meditate at the Shrine of Humility, lest the Guardian's inner voice flood my mind with anti-virtuous thoughts.

I'm just a shade miffed that Blizzard decided to steal icons from WoW for D3, instead of take the 3 seconds it takes to make new icons.

WoW is such a money-earner that they really don't care about the quality of their games any more. If you ask me, Diablo was one of the greatest games ever but Diablo II was terrible.

Ever since they first began working with WoW, everything else they've been working on has sucked to the extreme.

Why so much hate? WoW is a huge money maker, so it must not suck that badly. Besides, Kylia and I -loved- D2 and are greatly looking forward to trying out D3 together.

On the other hand, the Diablo community... bunch of annoying brats and fanbois. They spam and flame relentlessly on Diablofans.com, and the one thread I posted that was actually about something decent, it got deleted within minutes.

The same thing happened on MySpace's forums, I tried posting something thought-provoking and it got deleted within mere seconds, and I didn't even have the ability to object (it would have gotten my entire account deleted if I questioned a moderator). So, I said to myself that it wasn't worth it. If they wanted to think about bubblegum and unicorns all day long, good for them, I'll go somewhere mature thought and discussion are welcome.

I really do have very little faith in humanity. It would sadden me if I cared. lol

Thought-provoking discussion is exactly what InfoHub is here for, and I don't delete such threads. In fact I don't even see why you're angry at me simply because I disagree with you about Diablo II.

Furthermore as a Moderator my job is to answer your questions, and you are always able to approach me with any issues you might be having.

Not sure why you're unhappy with me at all.

Reading through this from a third person perspective I don't believe either of you intended disrespect towards the other, but things were misread and carried a bit too personally.

So, that said, Rob's a good moderator, smashboy's a good member. You both have intresting tastes and opinions, some of which I agree with, some of which I don't.

From what i can gather rob thought smashboy was mad which infact smashboy wasn't and all vicious wants is a peaceful community (which i can agree with).
