I'm no stranger to programming, but I just updated from VB6 to VB9 (Visual Basic 2008) and I'm completely lost. So, seeing as I could really use a refresher course anyway; I'm asking for any and all e-books on the topic.

I'd preffer a nice "Visual Basic 2008 for Dummies" book, but I'll accept anything.

I'm just about to go to school - I woke up an hour early and had nothing to do so I turned on the computer.

When I get back I will find one for you, if flozz doesn't find one before.

I would get it to you in a few minutes as we have our first lesson in the computer lab but the filter shuts down the browser automatically if "Warez" appears in the page, for some reason.

How odd... I suppose you could alway private message me by clicking on Memberlist from the main Portal if you wanted to get around that, though.

Though I suppose if I just changed the name of the Request forum, that would be avoided, lol.

Get VB9, the new Visual Studio Express available from Microsoft. It's made for compatibility with Windows Vista.

Here's a link for you: http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/

Thanks, I'm surprised VB9 is free!
