Right now it's about 12:30 AM, and I am in a world of pain... I think I might have gotten food poisoning via Cici's Pizza... If no one hears from me in a week; sue.

Today was hectic and annoying, but all of the elements added up to be pretty terrible on my feeling of health. It's hotter than one could safely imagine here in Florida recently, and the humidity makes it even more unbarable.

But in this heat we were supposed to travel out of county and take Rita to an appointment. That was done by noon, and it was odd that I hadn't eaten anything this late into my day. The next stop, since we were close, was my father's house. I don't really get along with my family for reasons of betrayal and such, but generally, if I'm in the area, I at least stop in to say "Hi."

That perhapes occupied another hour of the day, and then we headed to Cici's, since both Rita and I were very hungery.

Understanding this about me will help you understand why this is odd: I'm an average sized guy (not overweight, but not built) with an unusually large appetite, so as to keep my metabolism from digesting me. Anywhom, I wasn't able to eat very much before feeling oddly full. After leaving Cici's we drove across the street a little ways and found ourselves at Wal*Mart. It had only been a couple minutes since leaving the restraunt but my feeling of fullness had changed into one of pain.

We walked around Wal Mart, where my head mysteriously started hurting in the light, and the pain soon became a bit too much for me to stay in the store, and we found ourselves outside headed back into the car.

I'm certain this rapid changing of temperature was not the best thing to put on an already aching body.

Before we made it to the car, however, Rita became intrigued by half of a boat inside a trailer with a projector screen at the bow. Turned out to be a Land O Lakes boat simulator advertising cheese (don't ask me how that works, but somehow they think it does). While I didn't vomit, the rocking of that boat became a bit much.

Soon I'm driving us home, over the 27 mile stretch from one county to the next. We arrived home and managed to grab a brief nap before being woke so as to Water Seal a shed-sized building that was just errected a few days back for Rita's Dad.

There are few things in life I hate worse that Water Sealing. One of which is working with hay. And odds are, knowing my luck, if there'd been any hay within 5 miles, I'd have been forced to work with it too.

Water Sealing is hard enough of smooth, semi-treated wood. But on chipboard (which is very rough in surface) the sealant won't really cover well with less than 3 coats. To make matters worse, I didn't even manage to use to roller brush for a full second before the dry-rotted handle broke and left us coverinng this building with nothing but bristle hand brushes.

And to make matters worse, all of this was of course, done in the heat.

Then, thoroughly coated in white water sealant, sweat, and misery, I had to get somewhat clean before laying down and attempting to give my stomach a chance to settle. A cold shower probably would have been beneficial, but the sealant would never have come off.

Showered and hurting, I layed down finally around 8:30 and woke up here, just a few minutes ago, feeling like my stomach is about to burst open and spring forth some sort of alien.

I know how you feel, I had a similar problem last week. All I could do was crawl to the end of my bed and switch on the computer/grab a book from the shelf.

If it really is food poisoning, you should be better within a week - two at the most.

Hopefully... I lost so much sleep last night, but I think I'll be better once all of this 'gunk' is out of my system. The vomiting was horrible, and only made worse by the fact that it had been years since the last time I had ever vomited, so the experience was terrifiing. I honestly couldn't breathe and the thought that I might drown was devestating.

Poor Rita stayed with me for a good while after things got really bad, but I wish I could have shown her more thanks than my sickley near-death-feeling self managed.

This would certainly explain why I haven't seen you online over IM for a week or two.

Go to the pizza place or have someone go on your behalf, and find out everything, and I mean EVERYTHING they put in/on their pizzas.

Do some research, find out the effects of food poisoning in every ingredient, then you can narrow down the problem and perhaps get rid of it.

It must not be food poisoning because it sprang up again today. Similar symptoms. I had a plate of food, got full way too quickly, a few decently normal hours passed by... And now, here I hunch, in an all-to-familiar pain.

Rita things this is some sort of bug. I think I'm gonna have a disease named after me. If this ever jumps to someone else, I might just move this thread over to the Disease Outbreak section.

Well... Please excuse me as I crawl off in a corner and squirm in pain.
