It was released in the UK for the XBOX 360 approximately 17 hours ago, that's 11 hours ago in the US.
Of course, there was a free copy available in our games section about a week beforehand if you looked carefully enough.
GTA IV is widely expected to be the most popular game ever, and will sell over 9,000,000 copies in its first week. That's just in the UK.
Naturally it is also said to be not only the most popular but the most controversial. All the usual debates are being revived. Violence, profanity, all the regular low critical yet high public reception that has come to be recognised as part of the game itself.
Have you played it yet? What do you think so far?
If you don't have an XBOX 360, I'll do my best to get my hands on a PC copy as soon as it comes out.

I'm on the edge of my seating waiting untill I have something that's capable of playing the game. I doubt highly my PC will be able to play it smoothly, just because of all of the stunning graphics, but I will love to try my hand at the PC version.
I've researched the game rather thoroughly, and have already began familiarizing myself with the maps, as well as some of the finer points of the physics engine. I'm certain beyond reason that I am going to absolutely love getting a PCJ-600 within the new Liberty City. _________________
