Moderators will be expected to hold to the guidelines.
I) ENFORCEMENT:
A) Moderators will be expected in enforce forum rules in all sections of Infohub in which they have the proper power. B) Moderators will be expected to punish rule breaking to an appropriate extent as per their individual disgression, or, if confusion occures, they should contact an administrator and seek their opinion. C) In addition to enforcing the rules, moderators are expected to uphold them as well. This means that a moderator is subject to the same punishments for abuse that a regular member would be.
II) COEXISTANCE:
A) Moderators are expected to treat each other with the due respect that goes into be trusted enough to be given the position. B) If a moderator is found to be breaking the rules, another moderator should report them directly to an administrator, and in no way shape or form edit or delete the post(s) in question. C) Moderators are to exemplorate an aire of professionalism in their dealings with members. This means that they are to hold themselves to a higher regard than actions, such as fighting, would reflect upon them. D) A Moderator's word will be considered final unless overthrown by an Adminstrator. If anyone has any complaints to a Moderators punishment or handle on a situation, it should be reported to an administrator.
III) PUNISHMENT:
A) Moderators should reserve suspensions and bans for extreme cases, and choose to simply edit a post, where permitted, as opposed to getting into an arguement over it. B) Moderators should only edit posts that are in direct difiance of the forum rules, and should attempt to keep this editing down to removing spam links. C) Prior to any Suspensions and Bans moderators must contact an administrator for approval. Failure to do so will be addressed directly by an administrator, and may result in removal of moderator privellages.
IV) EDITORY:
A) Posts should only be edited if they are in direct difiance of the rules or post links innapropriately (spam). B) Posts should never be deleted without first consulting the approval of an Administrator.
V) UPLOADS:
A) Moderators are under no pressure to post uploads in the Share_Station:: however, they are free to do so. B) While Uploaders will share in this responsibility, Moderators are also expected to browse the Share_Station:: to ensure that no one has posted any pornography or other material that would be found in violation of the rules.
VI) NEWS:
A) Moderators have the option to post news both in the "News at Infohub" and "News Abroad" forums. B) Any time news is posted, the poster must include the source.
VII) COMMUNITY:
A) Moderators are expected to serve as knowledgable staff members that will help answer members' questions regarding different things. B) Moderators should take their most commonly asked questions and answers and post them here in the knowledge base, so that others might have them for refference. _________________
