Where is everyone?

I mean... It's not just infohub, but a majority of sites...

Are you guys alive? Mostly alive (which is to say that you're only a little dead)?

You guys probably aren't aware of it, but people have been disappearing a lot here lately... I'm not talking about just disappearing from websites either.

You guys know the blow the American economy has taken. We're practically in another Great Depression (thanks, Bush). Well, it's because of this economy that MILLIONS of people are having their homes foreclosed on. But the weird thing is, most of these people just vanish after they loose their home. I've heard of several instances of people's homes being foreclosed and the people have no where to go. Then *poof* they're gone.

1 out of 3 homes purchased in the last 2 years will be foreclosed by the end of the year, if this trend continues.

That means TENS of MILLIONS of Americans will be left without homes. Where are these people going? Not renting, I'm sure of it. (The national average rent has risen significantly and renting as an industry has taken some severe blows in the past 6 months.)

So if you guys have disappeared, but can access a computer, please be sure to let me know where everyone is disappearing to. I'll attempt a rescue if possible.

i'm glad i'm not the only one that noticed the lack of ppl online... yesterday i only had 2 ppl on my friends list instead of the 5 or 6 that are normally on... not only that but 1 of the 2 i was talking to said the same thing about her friends list. i was beginning to wonder if i had been the only one that noticed that.

Are you guys new to the internet? That's regular attrition I've noticed over the course of 15 years online (not straight, mind you). I used to have 100s of people on my friends lists at a time through various programs and notice within a month or two that I'd be seeing less than 10% of them. I'd clear the lists, start fresh, get upwards of 100 people on the list again and notice the exact same trend.

That's one reason I gave up making friends online. lol
