Earlier Vicious88 was kind enough to download an ISO file and re-upload it to OOMPAR for me to download.

Naturally I download it, wait the 2 hours it takes for the download to be completed, and then, finally, the RAR opens up with the ISO sitting right there.

I close my list of downloaded items and extract the ISO to my desktop.

But, wait, what's that? AN ERROR MESSAGE?

Quote:
! Cannot open C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\1209685424015.rar

The system cannot find the file specified.
! C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\1209685424015.rar: No files to extract

How could there be no files to extract? The accursed thing is taking up 500 MB of my hard drive, it certainly looks to me like there's a file there!

So now what do I have to do? Download the whole gorram thing AGAIN, just to clarify that it is a problem with the file and not something else!

S.O.B!

This happens a lot tragically.

The problem is where you downloaded it to.

..\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp - These temporary files beneath Local Settings have file size limitations automatically assigned to them within the registry.

To avoid this, try downloading the file directly to C:\ or perhapes a nice sub-folder.

But either way, tragically, you'll have to re-download it.
