We finally did it! With this post, I will push us into our thousandth post here on infohub. I'd like to extend a big thank you to all of our contributors, and a firm congradulations to you guys as well. Thank you for dedication to this site.

The more people we can get to join our little site, the more content and community there will be as a result. So, even though most of you are tired of me asking. If there is anything you'd like to see added to this site, or even removed from it, please let me know. And if you know anyone who might be intrested in joining - please let them know to join us, lol.

Congratulations, however, all I can say is that most of the longterm successful forums I've ever seen have had a small number of boards to post on. The fewer areas there are to click through to check for posts, the higher the traffic appears to be (and, in actuality, will be). People can sift through what they want by their eyes instead of having to check each and every subforum for new posts.

For instance, I posted on bbs.[reconsider word choice - it'll get you banned].com for the longest time, pretty much right after it went live til the time it was mysteriously shut down over six years later. The thing had millions of click-thrus per day at its height and it only had one board. Granted, many topics didn't stay on the main page for very long, but it was extremely active.

Having focus, for forums, is the win. Hope that helps.

I have no more categories than afterdawn.com or voide.org (both of which are vastly popular forums). And, in my experiences having moderated several forums across the web, I've learned that no matter how many categories there are, users tend to monitor just one or two sections which appeal to them on a regular basis.

So I appreciate the feedback, and if you have any forum boards you feel should be deleted from infohub, then please don't hesitate to make a post in the feedback & suggestions board. There, dependant on support or protest to your idea from other members, I will decide.

It's all democracy, lol.
